CHRIS ELLIOTT AND ABBY ELLIOT
The Elliots hold the record for having three generations of their family join the cast of SNL. This began with Bob Elliott, a cast member back in 1978, followed by Chris, a Not Ready for Primetime player from 1994 to 1995. Besides performing in the popular comedy show, Chris has also worked on other titles, including Get a Life, Cabin Boy, Everybody Loves Raymond, and How I Met Your Mother. He’s written a few books along the way, too, like The Shroud of the Thwacker and Into Hot Air.
Then we have Abby, who joined SNL during their blank season and is best remembered for playing Rachel Maddow, Chloe Sevigny, and Zooey Deschanel during her stay on the show. These days, however, you might recognize her as part of Bravo’s Odd Mom Out. We’ve got to give them credit, though, since this is undoubtedly one SNL legacy that’ll be hard to top!
