LEA THOMPSON

Lea Thompson started out as a ballet dancer where her parents used their investment money to get her into prestigious ballet schools like the American Ballet Theater and San Francisco Ballet. She got her first taste in acting by appearing in Burger King advertisements and snagging roles in films like Jaws 3-D, All the Right Moves, Red Dawn, and Some Kind of Wonderful. Many will remember her role as Marty McFly’s mother in the Back to the Future trilogy which, until now, is one of the most loved franchises of all time.

Aside from films, Thompson also ventured in appearing in TV shows like Caroline in the City. Her recent appearance was in the dancing show Dancing with the Stars, where she used her skills in ballet to dance around her competition. Thompson attributed her absence in Hollywood after becoming a mother.
