JEFF COHEN
Most child actors grow to be successful superstars as they age. However, that was not the case for former child star Jeff Cohen. The actor started his career in the movies when he landed Chunk’s role in Steven Spielberg’s production The Goonies. It premiered in 1985, ultimately catapulted Cohen’s career to greater heights. He would then bag a few more roles, including Family Ties and Perfect Harmony. While many think that he would continue his acting career until he reached adulthood, Cohen prioritized his studies.
He went to school to finish law at the University of California and passed the lawyers’ licensure exam. He is now an attorney who founded the law firm Cohen Gardner, in 2002, which clients are from the business side of entertainment. Cohen also got his hands into writing. He authored the book entitled The Dealmaker’s Ten Commandments: Ten Essential Tools for Business Forged in the Trenches of Hollywood, which relays his insights and experiences in the industry.
