MIA SARA
Mia Sara is a breakthrough star from the 1980s. Her biggest role that propelled her to superstardom was in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. She then landed another big role a few years after, this time with Jean-Claude Van Dame in the 1994 film Timecop.
Now at 53, Sara has since been alienated herself from the limelight. In 2016, Sara revealed in an interview that she was not happy about being an actress. The former 80s star also admitted that she does not have the drive to be a superstar. While many saw her as a lucky person to enter Hollywood, Sara surrendered with the truth that she is not for the industry. Choosing to focus on raising her daughter Amelia Jane, Sara retired from Hollywood and has since maintained a low-key lifestyle with a regular full-time job. Sara is also into writing these days, posting her thoughts and notions on her website. Included in her publishing credit are her film essays and poetry.
