LORI SINGER
The Texas-born Lori Singer is a woman of many talents. She has posed for various magazines and brands and made a career out of singing and acting. She gained international fame when she became a cast member of the musical drama Footloose along with Kevin Bacon and Dianne Wiest. Her outstanding performance made her earn an award as Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 1984.
Aside from being an actress, Singer is also a cellist. The singer had played the instrument since she was a child and even played in Oregon Symphony. In the 2000s, when the Singer’s shine in acting was slowly waning, the actress ventured into a soloist career. She also went into executive producing documentaries, including God Knows Where I Am in 2017. Lori then made a return on TV with Experimenter and The Institute. However, in the last couple of years, Singer is no longer appears in front of the TV. She may have decided to finally put an end to her acting career and focus her time, energy, and investment money on executive producing.
