KIM WILDE

Kim Wilde is an ‘80s star who worked as a pop singer, DJ, and TV presenter. She found initial fame in 1981 for her single Kids in America, which reached top charts. Two years after, Wilde earned the first major award as the Best British Female solo artist at the Brit Awards.

Today, Wilde’s interest is far from where she started. She was able to allot time to learn new skills aside from making hit songs. From music and appearing on TV, Wilde is now more into landscape gardening, beautifying properties, and giving it every ounce of aesthetics needed. She has also authored books, including Gardening with Children, helping family members encourage their kids for family-friendly gardening concepts. She also has a writing credit for The First Time Gardener in 2006. Wilde balanced pregnancy with horticulture study at the Capel Manor College. Wilde also tried being a designer on Channel 4’s Better Gardens and in Garden Invaders of BBC.
