SHEENA EASTON
Sheena Easton is a famous ‘80s singer who is also the first reality star on TV. She got featured in The Big Time: Pop Singer, where the show followed her bid to land a record contract. Eventually, Easton was able to bag a contract with EMI Records. Easton’s music landed in the top charts in the UK and the United States, earning her Grammy Awards in the process.
The singer’s hits included Almost Over You, We’ve Got Tonight, and 9 to 5. Easton’s degree of stardom transcended into the acting world. Easton’s career would go until the 2000s, touring in the Americas and the U.K. Her last tour was in 2019. Easton then began moving away from the limelight. Although the singer did not confirm the reason for her absence, it may be because of the British singer’s age. She may have also been focusing on her health as she is already in her 60s.
