David Franz is a music industry entrepreneur, a musician, an engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and educator based in Los Angeles. The multi-talented artist specializes in the soul, rock, electronic, punk, R&B, hip-hop, and Americana genres. On top of that, David writes, produces, and engineers music for a wide variety of artists.

If you think, however, that he’s only a musician, then you’re terribly wrong. David Franz also acted in numerous popular TV shows such as Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue. Sadly, in 2005, following the final airing of NYPD Blue, the versatile artist seemed to have ended his acting career along with the show. David has won several awards throughout his career as an actor. Among his many citations are three Screen Actors Guild Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Golden Globe award. Now, he just enjoys his investments at their beautiful lake house in Idaho with his lovely wife. According to David, he would still be very much willing to return to the screen if the right opportunity comes in the future.
