NIKKI BLONSKY
Nikki Blonsky was born as Nicole Margaret Blonsky in Great Neck, New York. She is an American film producer and screenwriter who is also the director of Sobieski. Nikki is also regarded as a talented singer aside from her acting career and has collaborated with the guitarist Jon Kestenbaum on several occasions. Nikki’s fans best remember her for her portrayal of Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 adaptation of the iconic musical Hairspray. Critics gave credit to her acting ability for having the opportunity to appear with a few A-list Hollywood stars such as John Travolta, Zac Efron, and Queen Latifah. Sadly, her acting career went downhill after the movie.
The sudden turn in her chosen profession led to a different path as she went on to study cosmetology and earned her license in 2011. After taking a job as a part-time make-up artist and hairstylist, she landed a short-lived part on the TV series Huge.
