GENE HACKMAN

Eugene Allen Hackman was born in San Bernardino, California. Gene grew up in Danville, Illinois, after living in many cities, and he became involved in performing at the age of 10. Sometimes, Hollywood’s glitz and glamour can be a little too overwhelming for celebrities that they decide to leave their sophisticated way of life for a simpler one. This turned out to be the move right for the veteran actor, who retired from acting after his 2004 film Welcome to Mooseport.

Gene had a very successful run in the business and received numerous accolades, including two Oscar awards. He also won 2 Academy Awards, 4 Golden Globe Awards, 1 SAG Award, and 2 BAFTA Awards. Luckily, the actor had secured his investments, allowing him to revel in a new lifestyle with his wife. He owns a 12-acre property that he and Betsy extensively remodeled and re-designed as their new primary residence.
