ANDIE MACDOWELL

Rosaline Anderson “Andie” MacDowell has appeared in several productions after her debut role in Sex, Lies, and Videotape back in 1989, for which she won Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead and earned a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress. MacDowell continued to showcase her talent in films such as Green Card, Groundhog Day, and Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Unluckily, the up-and-coming leading lady encountered some difficulties throughout her career when scoring new roles became a struggle. The actress later made a few investments in taking roles with smaller productions. To further support her day-to-day living while pursuing her acting dreams, she ventured into modeling and worked for Calvin Klein as well as L’Oreal. Some of her most recent film features include The Beach House and Ready Or Not. To boot, the actress has also given a contribution to TV series, including the BBC sitcom Cuckoo and the Hallmark Channel family series titled Cedar Cove, which ran from 2013 to 2015.
