DAVE CHAPPELLE
In 1993, actor David Chappelle appeared in his very first movie Robin Hood: Men in Tights. He was given a lot of credit for his performance, which led to a series of supporting roles in major projects such as Blue Streak, The Nutty Professor, Con Air, and You’ve Got Mail. The funny guy is well-loved internationally with his sharp tongue for jokes that are tethered on real-life observations, all the while satirical but not offensive to the vast majority.
Being a stand-up comedian, Chapelle gained enough confidence to venture into hosting his very own TV show back in 2013. Despite its success, he decided to end the program after a few years. Later in 2016, the actor agreed to a contract with Netflix for each of his comedy release and went on to deliver four performances the following year. He has been quiet since his recent short appearance in the blockbuster hit A Star is Born.
