Actress Taylor Momsen took part in numerous productions before getting her big break. She landed a significant role as Jenny Humphrey in the T.V. hit Gossip Girl, which lasted from 2007 to 2012 and boosted her popularity and status in the acting industry. Fans also remember her playing Cindy Lou’s role in the comedy blockbuster How the Grinch Stole Christmas back in 2000.

However, before her notable roles, she has also landed significant parts in movies such as in the 2002 fantasy comedy Hansel and Gretel and Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams. She was also part of the 2006 family drama Saving Shiloh and remembered to have auditioned for the title role of Hannah Montana. Momsen participated in several productions throughout her career, but she opted to retire from acting and made investments in her rock band called The Pretty Reckless.
