Eddie Murphy is a well-known comedian and screenwriter. He was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live for four years from 1980, and his constant appearance on the show jump-started his career in Hollywood. He was given fair credit for his performances in films such as Nutty Professor and Shrek, where he voiced the character of Donkey.
