MELISSA GILBERT

Melissa Gilbert began her Hollywood journey as a child actress and made a name for herself as Laura Ingalls Wilder in the acclaimed series, Little House on the Prairie. It was during this period that she landed a number of other memorable roles, including parts in the films The Miracle Worker and The Diary of Anne Frank. Gilbert was able to transition this same level of success into adulthood, finding plenty of work when it came to television shows and films.

After making considerable contributions and investments in the industry, Gilbert decided to take more of a backseat role and began reducing the amount of work she accepted. She also later became the 26th President of the Screen Actors Guild and was in office from 2001 to 2005. Most recently, she was in an Off-Off-Broadway production of My Brilliant Divorce.
