Considered one of the most well-known pioneers of teen stardom, Rob Lowe has managed to put his heartthrob degree behind him. His debut film The Outsiders catapulted him to fame, and he became the next big teen idol overnight. Lowe promoted his pretty-boy persona in the 1980s, starring in movies like St. Elmo’s Fire and Oxford Blues.
