TONY DANZA

Tony Danza became a true instant star thanks to his performance as the good-natured cab driver in the classic series Taxi. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to win a title shot, he gave up boxing and concentrated on acting. He started appearing on the comedy series Who’s the Boss? It seemed like the right decision. Danza gained enough credibility due to these two investments and became an executive producer for his own production company, which resulted in a slew of programs and made-for-television films.

Danza has continued to work in films and television, most recently co-starring in the Netflix show The Good Cop, in which he found his niche as a lead character. Danza worked on a new stage show called More Standards & Stories and lent his voice to the forthcoming animated film Rumble. We’re waiting for the chance of his return to his iconic series in this age of television revivals.
