Jennifer Grey showed she could quickly move from diverse comedy to serious film, and a single movie, Dirty Dancing, entirely overshadowed her career. The chemistry between her and Swayze was palpable, and their compelling show of emotion helped make Dirty Dancing a considerable success. Sadly, 1987 and Dirty Dancing would be the pinnacle of her degree, since she went on to do a string of poorly received movies like Bloodhounds of Broadway and Wind.

Grey returned to the spotlight, at least on digital television, with a starring role in Red Oak and Grey’s Anatomy. It was the year 2010 that saw a revival as she competed on the 11th season of the TV program Dancing With the Stars. On the other hand, Grey eventually settled down in 2001, marrying actor and producer Clark Gregg. Together with their daughter, Grey seems to have put her Hollywood past behind her.
