John Lasseter: ~ $100 Million
The former chief creative officer of Pixar is reportedly worth $100 million and without having to hide it; John knows how lucrative the film animation company can be from a business perspective. While his time in Walt Disney Animation Studios has contributed a great deal to his wealth, he was fired from Disney for promoting computer animation. This decision was something that the team at Disney deeply regretted because of how successful John became after termination.
He later joined Lucasfilm, where he pioneered the use of CGI animation. When Lucasfilm was sold to Steve Jobs, it became Pixar in 1986. John oversaw all of Pixar’s films and related projects as executive producer. In 2018, he was asked to leave the company when numerous cases of inappropriate misconduct were filed by his female employees. He’s admitted his lapses to his lawyers, and if found lying, he will be fired from SkyDance Media, where he struck a deal as a consultant. He is an award-winning animator, screenwriter, and filmmaker.
