Tina Louise took after her mother, who is an established model. After taking lessons and pointers from her mom, Tina pursued a modeling career before taking over the stage. It can be said that she found some success during her time as a model but most of her wealth comes from her acting career. She also had a successful run on Broadway but in 1958, she landed a leading role and given credit in the popular drama film, God’s Little Acre in 1958. With the movie’s success came her major break. In fact, she won a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year.
