Barbara Walters: ~ $170 Million
Barbara Walters is an inspiration to many women who are trying to become a journalist and broadcaster. She’s hosted several television shows, including 20/20, The View, and the ABC Evening News. She started to appear as a co-anchor back in 1976, which was rare in those days. She was the first woman to co-host an American news program and became the first woman to have ever co-anchored a network evening news program.
Walters started as a writer and researcher for The Today Show, which she eventually co-hosted in 1974. She is also famous for her yearly Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People special. Recent reports suggest, though, that she has been feeling ill lately. We hope she feels better soon, and there’s no need for her to call the insurance companies. With an estimated net worth of $170 million, we are pretty sure she doesn’t have to worry about any treatment.
