Derek Jeter ~ $ 200 Million
Derek Jeter is a former professional baseball player, businessman, and baseball executive, who pulled in $200 million during his career with the New York Yankees. Over two decades into the game — and being one of MLB’s top players — he’s had a number of endorsement deals signed with big brands like Nike and Gatorade. In fact, they’ve been paying Jeter millions in sponsorship. Some of his other partners include Rawling, Steiner Sports, Movado, and Avon. He has a bigger investment in mind though. Together with Jeb Bush, they financed the Miami Marlins back in 2017. We can say that he’s rich enough to own a baseball team now.
Jeter certainly has a busy schedule, even if he’s already retired. He was eventually named the Marlins’ Chief Executive Owner and is in charge of the team’s day-to-day operations. Jeter also has philanthropic obligations, among which is his Turn 2 Foundation, which helps kids avoid substance abuse.
