At just 23 years old, Zendaya is already a force to be reckoned with. Her strong features and statuesque physique has made her a favorite muse among many designers and quite certainly one of the celebrities that many fashion critics look forward to on the red carpet. Zendaya made waves on the red carpet when she appeared at the 2015 Oscars red carpet wearing a sleek Vivienne Westwood gown and donning dreadlocks.

Unfortunately, Guiliana Rancic, who is a “Fashion Police” host, remarked that the actress felt like she “smells of patchouli” or “weed”. She was immediately blasted for her racist remark, and this controversy led Zendaya to promote diversity in fashion. A year later, she also opened up about being racially profiled after using her credit cards to make a purchase at a grocery.
