BERN NADETTE STANIS — 65 YEARS OLD
The actress is best known for her role as Thelma on Good Times, a television show that ran for five years in the 1970s. Despite working with attorneys and gracing courtrooms for her past marriages, she is now moving on. She continues with her acting career, appearing in numerous TV shows and sitcoms. She has also written a memoir and has four published books under her name. Stanis founded a non-profit organization five years ago to help raise awareness about dementia and Alzheimers. The foundation is said to be personal to her because it was the reason of her mother’s death.
