HELEN SLATER — 55 YEARS OLD
Helen Slater is an actress, singer, and songwriter. She played the leading role in the film Supergirl. She also played the role of Supergirl’s adoptive mother in the 2015 television series with the same title. In 2010, she wrote a story titled “A Hero’s Journey”, which eventually appeared on the 50th issue of Supergirl’s comic book. Other projects she has worked on over the years include The Legend of Billie Jean, Ruthless People, and The Secret of My Success.
She is also involved in film and theater productions. She co-founded The Naked Angels, a theater group based in New York. Helen Slater also attended classes at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television. She wanted to make a more significant investment in her career by broadening her acting abilities. She is currently open to more challenging roles because she believes she can do them just as correctly as before.
